Coronary angiography is defined as the radiographic visualization of the coronary vessels The purpose of coronary angiography is to define the coronary anatomy and the degree of luminal obstruction. The indications and contrindications of coronary angiography must be well known. Operator experience is clearly related to lower complication rate and the operator must be an experienced cardiologist.
