Electrophysiology Of Rhythm Disorders And Classification Of Arrythmias
Dr. Mehdi ZOGHİ,a Dr. Hamza DUYGUa
aKardiyoloji AD, Ege Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, İZMİR In the normal heart, electrical activity and action potentials begin from the sinus node spontaneously and spread to the ventricles by cell-to-cell conduction. Normal cardiac rhythym is related to normal production and conduction of the impulse of sinus. Abnormal impulse formation and/or conduction play an important role in the mechanism of arrthymias. In this paper, the electrophsiological mechanisms and related classifications are discussed. Keywords: Rhythm disorders, electrophysiologyTurkiye Klinikleri J Int Med Sci 2006, 2(33):60-65
