Permanent Pacemaker Indications In Conduction Defects

Each year, cardiac pacemaker therapy is prescribed to thousands of people worldwide due to different causes. Permanent pacemakers are implanted in adults primarily for the treatment of sinus node dysfunction, atrioventricular block, and certain fascicular blocks. Pacemakers implanted for cardiac conduction defects consist of majority of such patients.
